Semana Santa

We are just coming back from our Spring Break. It was a jam-packed week of fun! We moved apartments, hung out with great friends, went to the beach a few times, hiked 27 Waterfalls and slept. A few posts down describes the night/day of Semana Santa: a thief and moving apartments. What a way to begin a week of rest. But, honestly, gracias a Dios, that it was that week or I wouldn't have been able to function at school on Monday. Monday I slept in (8:45...that has to be some kind of record for me!) and sat around the apartment. Our friend Will came in Monday night from Santiago. He lives with Jim and Teresa White and is helping them out with their mission. Here are some pictures:

We went to dinner at La Tarappa. It took 2 hours!! The group was Benjamín, Johan, Amanda, Rachel, Ashley, Cara, Will and myself.

The last night we went out to eat. It also took 2 hours! We, the gringas, had wanted to go eat pizza. Wilson decided that he and his friends would come and then half way there they changed the restaurant! Come on, people! We weren't going out to be social...we wanted pizza! So the next night Ashley and I went with Miguel, Jennie and Diego to the military base to eat pizza.

I don't have pictures of 27 Waterfalls because we used a disposable camera and we have to wait for Amanda to get home to develope it. So, more pictures to come!
